Data and Knowledge Sharing and Integration (DSI)
The research group will implement new digital environments enabling interoperability, data integration and knowledge extraction within heterogeneous, multi-modal and in silo data. It is part of knowledge engineering and AI.
Temporal Radar and Optical Data Series for Generic Processing Chains (STRONG)
This group integrates the processing approaches developed by the different thematic research groups in order to build and evaluate the genericity of the methods and processing chains resulting from multi-sensor data to the development of analytical and knowledge indicators, that include multiple thematic and geographical areas.
Modeling, Analysis and Decision Support in Space-Time Systems (MADES)
This group aims to develop symbolic and numerical approaches, new models of control and decision support strategies to apprehend the complexity of spatio-temporal systems that can be non-stationary, non-linear, multi-physical and multi-scale in nature, offering a modeling approach (simulation, decision-making, analytical) to address the thematic issues of the research laboratory.
GEO-I
This group Géoindicateurs is interested in how indicators, indices and proxies are produced. These analysis tools help to target and direct our attention towards areas of knowledge related to a better understanding of the systems studied (ecosystem, geosystem, socio-system, territorial systems, …) and the phenomena or processes analysed (land degradation, evolution of biodiversity, desertification, deforestation).
